Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the bailiff shall apply to the Registrar General in Form G for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees, and the Registrar General shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within fifteen days of the application.
