Application for registration.—Every copyright society carrying on the administration of rights by a copyright society shall make an application for registration to the Registrar of Copyrights in Form 9, within thirty days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of twenty thousand rupees and a statement of every design held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for fourteen days from that date.
