Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the reinsurer shall apply to the Government of Bihar in Form IRDA-2 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of fifty thousand rupees, and the Government of Bihar shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within ninety days of the application.
