Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the casual taxable person shall apply to the Commissioner in Form GST DRC-03 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees, and the Commissioner shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within fifteen days of the application.
