Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the manager of an institution shall apply to the Registrar of Societies in Form D for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of two hundred and fifty rupees, and the Registrar of Societies shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within one hundred and twenty days of the application.
