Surrender of certificate.—Every passport holder who ceases to carry on the holding of a passport shall, within seven days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the Foreigners Regional Registration Officer in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form X of the manner in which every passport held by him has been disposed of.
