Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the overseas citizen of India shall apply to the Government of Karnataka in Form C for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees, and the Government of Karnataka shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within thirty days of the application.
