Surrender of certificate.—Every riparian owner who ceases to carry on the drawing of water from a river shall, within ninety days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the Government of Puducherry in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form E of the manner in which every water meter held by him has been disposed of.
