Application for registration.—Every overseas investor carrying on investment in India by a person resident outside India shall make an application for registration to the Development Commissioner in Form ANF-1, within forty-five days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of two hundred rupees and a statement of every foreign exchange held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for one hundred and twenty days from that date.
