Application for registration.—Every surveyor carrying on the assessment of loss shall make an application for registration to the Insurance Information Bureau in Form IRDA-1, within twenty-one days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of one lakh rupees and a statement of every proposal form held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for twenty-one days from that date.
