Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the pension fund manager shall apply to the Regional Provident Fund Commissioner in Form 19 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees, and the Regional Provident Fund Commissioner shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within forty-five days of the application.
