Application for registration.—Every portfolio manager carrying on the business of a portfolio manager shall make an application for registration to the Depository in Form B, within seven days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of one lakh rupees and a statement of every securities held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for fifteen days from that date.
