Application for registration.—Every data fiduciary carrying on the processing of personal data shall make an application for registration to the Board in Form D, within seven days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees and a statement of every digital signature held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for three days from that date.
