Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the master shall apply to the Conservator of the Port in Form 7 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees, and the Conservator of the Port shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within fifteen days of the application.
