Transfer of registration.—A certificate of registration shall not be transferable: Provided that where any occupant dies, his legal representative shall, within sixty days of the death, intimate the death to the Tahsildar in Form 8, surrender the certificate of registration to it and furnish a statement of every patta then held; and the Tahsildar shall enter the intimation in the register within one hundred and eighty days of its receipt.
