Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the procuring entity shall apply to the Accountant General in Form GFR 22 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees, and the Accountant General shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within forty-five days of the application.
