Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the operator of a hostel for tenants shall apply to the Rent Controller in Form G for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees, and the Rent Controller shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within forty-five days of the application.
