Surrender of certificate.—Every permit holder who ceases to carry on the use of a transport vehicle shall, within fourteen days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the Transport Commissioner in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form 1 of the manner in which every driving licence held by him has been disposed of.
