Application for registration.—Every salvor carrying on the salvage of vessels shall make an application for registration to the Mercantile Marine Department in Form 6, within forty-five days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of twenty-five thousand rupees and a statement of every berth held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for fourteen days from that date.
