Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the publisher of a report of proceedings of the Legislature shall apply to the Chief Electoral Officer in Form 6 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees, and the Chief Electoral Officer shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within three days of the application.
