Clause 2, Uttarakhand Uniform Civil Code (Marriage register Control) Order, 2026 [S7N-P22]

Definitions.—In this Order, unless the context otherwise requires,— (a) "Act" means the Uttarakhand Uniform Civil Code Act, 2024 (Uttarakhand Act 3 of 2024); (b) "executor of a will" means a person carrying on the administration of the estate of a deceased person; (c) "register of births" means a register of births received, held or disposed of by a executor of a will in the course of the administration of the estate of a deceased person; (d) "Form VIII" means the form so numbered in the Schedule; (e) words and expressions used herein and not defined but defined in the Act shall have the meanings respectively assigned to them in the Act.
