Surrender of certificate.—Every foreigner who ceases to carry on residence in India shall, within fourteen days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the Citizenship Committee in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form D of the manner in which every travel document held by him has been disposed of.
