Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the person summoned by a commission shall apply to the Appellate Authority in Form C for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees, and the Appellate Authority shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within forty-five days of the application.
