Application for registration.—Every overseas investor carrying on investment in India by a person resident outside India shall make an application for registration to the Export Inspection Council in Form SEZ-2, within sixty days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of two hundred rupees and a statement of every unit held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for sixty days from that date.
