Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the election agent shall apply to the Election Commission in Form 17A for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees, and the Election Commission shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within ten days of the application.
