Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the insurer issuing policies shall apply to the Stamp Revenue Board in Form A for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of twenty rupees, and the Stamp Revenue Board shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within fifteen days of the application.
