Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the holder of land shall apply to the Revenue Divisional Officer in Form 14 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of twenty rupees, and the Revenue Divisional Officer shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within fifteen days of the application.
