Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the dealer in arms and ammunition shall apply to the Superintendent of Police in Form II for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees, and the Superintendent of Police shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within fourteen days of the application.
