Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the operator shall apply to the Government of Madhya Pradesh in Form CA-2 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of five lakh rupees, and the Government of Madhya Pradesh shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within sixty days of the application.
