Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the master shall apply to the Conservator of the Port in Form 3 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees, and the Conservator of the Port shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within seven days of the application.
