Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the collector of a Panchayat tax shall apply to the Director of Panchayats in Form 7 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of ten rupees, and the Director of Panchayats shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within forty-five days of the application.
