Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the author shall apply to the Appellate Board in Form 2 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of eight thousand rupees, and the Appellate Board shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within one hundred and eighty days of the application.
