Custody of the register.—The register maintained under these rules shall be kept at the office of the Chief Controller of Explosives in the custody of the officer in charge of a police station, shall be bound and its pages numbered, and shall not be removed from that office except on the written order of the Chief Controller of Explosives; and where the officer in charge of a police station having custody of it is succeeded by another, an entry recording the transfer of custody shall be made in Form VI within ten days of the succession.
