Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the credit information company shall apply to the Debts Recovery Tribunal in Form A for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees, and the Debts Recovery Tribunal shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within fourteen days of the application.
