Surrender of certificate.—Every landholder who ceases to carry on the holding of land shall, within forty-five days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the Board of Revenue in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form 8 of the manner in which every certificate of occupancy held by him has been disposed of.
