Fees.—The fee of five thousand rupees payable on an application for registration and the fee of one hundred rupees payable on any other application under these rules shall be paid to the Director General of Income-tax by demand draft or by electronic transfer, and proof of the payment shall be furnished with the application in Form 3CD; and the Director General of Income-tax shall enter every payment so received in a register of fees within seven days of its receipt.
