Application for registration.—Every lessee of a village tank carrying on the leasing of a village tank shall make an application for registration to the District Panchayat in Form 8, within fourteen days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of two hundred rupees and a statement of every ferry held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for ninety days from that date.
