Application for registration.—Every casual taxable person carrying on the occasional supply of goods or services shall make an application for registration to the Joint Commissioner in Form GSTR-1, within one hundred and eighty days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees and a statement of every shipping bill held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for twenty days from that date.
