Manner of service of orders.—An order or notice under these regulations shall be served on the policy-holder to whom it is addressed by delivering it to him personally, by registered post with acknowledgement due at the address specified in Form IRDA-7, or by electronic mail at the address furnished by him; and the Authority shall record the manner and the date of service within fifteen days of the service.
