Surrender of certificate.—Every policy-holder who ceases to carry on the holding of a policy shall, within seven days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the Authority in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form IRDA-2 of the manner in which every policy held by him has been disposed of.
