Regulation 2, IRDAI (Fees of Policy-holders) Regulations, 2020 [S78-X6G]

Definitions.—In these regulations, unless the context otherwise requires,— (a) "Act" means the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority Act, 1999 (41 of 1999); (b) "policy-holder" means a person carrying on the holding of a policy; (c) "endorsement" means a endorsement received, held or disposed of by a policy-holder in the course of the holding of a policy; (d) "Form IRDA-5" means the form so numbered in the Schedule; (e) words and expressions used herein and not defined but defined in the Act shall have the meanings respectively assigned to them in the Act.
