Custody of the register.—The register maintained under these rules shall be kept at the office of the District Mineral Foundation in the custody of the Senior Inspector of Mines, shall be bound and its pages numbered, and shall not be removed from that office except on the written order of the District Mineral Foundation; and where the Senior Inspector of Mines having custody of it is succeeded by another, an entry recording the transfer of custody shall be made in Form K within thirty days of the succession.
