Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the contractor for the mid-day meal shall apply to the District Education Officer in Form C for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees, and the District Education Officer shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within thirty days of the application.
