Custody of the register.—The register maintained under these rules shall be kept at the office of the Civil Defence Controller in the custody of the Emergency Officer, shall be bound and its pages numbered, and shall not be removed from that office except on the written order of the Civil Defence Controller; and where the Emergency Officer having custody of it is succeeded by another, an entry recording the transfer of custody shall be made in Form D within one day of the succession.
