Clause 2, West Bengal Land Reforms (Khasra Control) Order, 2018 [S76-544]

Definitions.—In this Order, unless the context otherwise requires,— (a) "Act" means the West Bengal Land Reforms Act, 1955 (West Bengal Act 10 of 1955); (b) "holder of land" means a person carrying on the holding of land assessed to revenue; (c) "map" means a map received, held or disposed of by a holder of land in the course of the holding of land assessed to revenue; (d) "Form 12" means the form so numbered in the Schedule; (e) words and expressions used herein and not defined but defined in the Act shall have the meanings respectively assigned to them in the Act.
