Application for registration.—Every overseas investor carrying on investment in India by a person resident outside India shall make an application for registration to the Export Inspection Council in Form ANF-5A, within one hundred and twenty days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees and a statement of every shipping bill held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for fifteen days from that date.
