Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the insurer shall apply to the Government of Goa in Form IRDA-7 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees, and the Government of Goa shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within fifteen days of the application.
