Surrender of certificate.—Every lessee who ceases to carry on prospecting operations shall, within forty-five days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the Regional Controller of Mines in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form C of the manner in which every weighbridge slip held by him has been disposed of.
