Custody of the register.—The register maintained under these rules shall be kept at the office of the State Transport Appellate Tribunal in the custody of the Motor Vehicles Inspector, shall be bound and its pages numbered, and shall not be removed from that office except on the written order of the State Transport Appellate Tribunal; and where the Motor Vehicles Inspector having custody of it is succeeded by another, an entry recording the transfer of custody shall be made in Form 38 within fourteen days of the succession.
