Custody of the register.—The register maintained under these rules shall be kept at the office of the National Executive Committee in the custody of the Civil Defence Officer, shall be bound and its pages numbered, and shall not be removed from that office except on the written order of the National Executive Committee; and where the Civil Defence Officer having custody of it is succeeded by another, an entry recording the transfer of custody shall be made in Form C within seven days of the succession.
